Built by a maker, for makers
Tidy exists because juggling spreadsheets, notebooks, and DMs while trying to run a studio shouldn't be this hard.

The problem was personal
After years running Apple&Pear Studio with his wife Elisa—managing pottery production, client commissions, workshops, and wholesale orders—Fabio kept hitting the same wall: no tool understood how makers actually work.
Project management software felt corporate. Spreadsheets became tangled. Client details lived in DMs. Invoices happened whenever he remembered. The admin was drowning the craft.
So he built the workspace he wished existed.
“I needed something that understood kiln schedules and wholesale batches—not another tool built for tech teams.”
Designer, maker, problem solver
Fabio Bernardi is a UX designer and ceramicist based in Somerset, UK. He creates functional pottery under Puro Ceramics and runs Apple&Pear Studio with Elisa, where they balance production work, commissions, workshops, and the occasional craft fair.
Tidy reflects that dual perspective: a designer's eye for clarity and a maker's understanding of real studio rhythms—firing schedules, batch production, custom orders, wholesale deadlines, and the endless admin that comes with all of it.

How Tidy Came to Be
2024 – The idea takes shape
Frustrated with cobbling together tools that weren't made for makers, Fabio started sketching what a studio workspace should actually look like.
Late 2024 – Building & testing
Early prototypes went into private trials with fellow makers—ceramicists, textile artists, furniture makers—who helped shape the workflows and features that mattered.
2025 – Open beta launch
Tidy opened to makers worldwide. We're still evolving features based on real feedback from working studios, refining the tool as we grow.
What We Believe
Principles that shape everything we build
Maker-first simplicity
Only what a studio needs—no bloat, no feature creep. If it doesn't help you make or manage better, it doesn't belong.
Let your craft flow
Admin should stay out of your way. Tidy organizes the chaos so you can focus on what you're making, not what you're managing.
Clarity & fairness
Straightforward pricing. No dark patterns. No surprise fees. You should always know what you're getting.
You own your work
Your data belongs to you. Export anytime. We respect privacy and don't lock you in.
Craft sensibility in software
The same care you put into your work, we put into Tidy—thoughtful details, calm interface, workflows that match real studio life.
Responsible tools
We're building something useful, not exploitative. No sketchy industries, no surveillance features, no shady shortcuts.

We're Still Building
Growing with makers, not against them
Tidy is in open beta—which means we're actively listening, refining, and adding features based on what real studios need. You're not just using a tool; you're helping shape it.
What's coming:
- Light inventory tracking
- Purchase orders for materials
- Simple automations to reduce repetitive admin
We share honest updates in-app and respond quickly to feedback. If something's broken, we fix it. If something's missing, we talk about it.
Make more. Manage less.
Whether you're throwing your first bowl or running a full production studio, Tidy keeps your work flowing.

What's next
During beta we're refining invoicing, wholesale flows, and inventory basics with early users. If you want to help shape Tidy, we'd love to have you.
